Now is the time to buy YNAB for yourself or as a gift. Get the world's best budgeting software for just $30, half off retail! Come see how!Pin

If you’ve been reading Six Figures Under for any length of time, chances are good that you’ve heard me rave about YNAB.  YouNeedABudget (YNAB, pronounced “why-nab”) is not just the best budgeting software, but it’s a 4-rule method that will rock your financial world!

Get YNAB for $30 Now!!

If you haven’t bought YNAB yet, now is the time to do so.  It’s on sale for $30 today for Cyber Monday!

Here’s how:

First go here (will open in a new tab/window), then Click on “Purchase.”

Now is the time to buy YNAB for yourself or as a gift. Get the world's best budgeting software for just $30, half off retail! Come see how!Pin

It will say your total is $54.  Click on “Buy a Gift License”

Your total should be $30!

If you want to take advantage of this deal, TODAY (12/1/2014) is the last day.  I would have told you sooner, but I just heard about the deal this morning thanks to a reader!

UPDATE:

If the above method didn’t work for you, try going here.  It will put a physical gift card in your cart that they will mail to you.

If you would rather have the access code now than wait for it to come on a gift card in the mail, click on “Keep shopping” and follow the instructions above (click on “purchase a YNAB gift license”).  You will then have both the physical gift card and the gift access code in your cart.  Remove the physical gift card and you’ll be able to get just the access code.

Note: both the physical gift card and the access code are for the same YNAB software.  They only difference is that you’ll have to wait 2 weeks to get the gift card in the mail, but if you want to give it as a gift, that might be nice to have something physical to give.

More about YNAB

In our pre-YNAB years, we had our own spreadsheet and we used Mint, but YNAB has really made the difference for us.  You can read about how we use YNAB and how it makes a difference in these articles:

YNAB Make a Great Gift

If you already use and love YNAB, why not share it with a friend?  You can buy YNAB now at the discounted price and give the access code as a gift.  What a great wedding gift or Christmas gift for a family member or friend, along with a thoughtful note explaining your personal experience with YNAB and how it has improved your finances.

I am so glad I learned about YNAB from your blog! And because I’m currently a student I was able to get it for free!

Thank you for the tip! I purchased YNAB and have been playing around with it for the past few days.

Not quite sure I prefer it over my Excel spreadsheets. I use the YNAB methodology BUT the difference is that I have columns for “projected” and “actual” so I’m able to see and plan my budgets better than when using YNAB.

I also find that in terms of “envelopes” and allocating funds/future expenses/moving categories, I find it easier to play around and navigate on Excel.

What I LOVE about it though… is that it has apps and automatically syncs with everyone on the budget!

I’ll be using my spreadsheets and YNAB for the next month and will decide which one suits me better.

It didn’t work for me at first, but then I added tthe gift card to my cart and they both updated to $60-$30 (the minus $30 showed under the original price of $60). So I jsut took the gift card out of my cqart and bought the download @ $30! Thanks, Stephanie!

Just went to buy YNAB and I got a message indicating that “YNABGIFTCARD” is out of stock. I’m thinking the sale must be over? Next time!!

It’s worth trying again. At various times throughout the day it has given a sold out message, but apparently gets restocked and works later.

Not working for me either. I can’t find anywhere on their website where they are selling gift cards. All I see is the ynab software for $60.00.

I just tried it as well and it came up as $60.00. Hmm… I wonder why it worked on your computer (since you were obviously able to take the screen shots) and not on mine and Beth’s. Maybe Beth’s right that it’s b/c neither of us have it yet and it’s only available for people who already use it to give as a gift to someone else.

I think I did it in an “incognito” window in Chrome, so it shouldn’t see me as any different from someone who doesn’t use YNAB. I will see if I can figure it out and get back to you, because that’s a big bummer! I was so excited to share a discounted price for my fav budget software!
